"Eternity": Chinese Brush Strokes with a Paintbrush Carriage and UV LEDs Create a Chinese character scribing robot using 31 ultra-violet LEDs housed in a custom paintbrush carriage attached to an S2 Scribbler Parallax robot. The robot traverses a phosphorescent vinyl sheet, leaving behind a jade-colored painting. The LEDs are arranged in four groups and can be individually switched ON/OFF via the S2's hacker port. For added effect, attach a MakerBot logo as a stempel to cast under robot control onto the phosphor screen. Learn more about this project on Parallax or LetsMakeRobots forums.
