This acrylic reverse-painted Settlers of Catan set features public domain or CC licensed artwork, replacing raster images from the original wooden design. Intaglio ink is applied to the backside after etching at 100% power, 30% speed and cutting at 100% power, 6% speed on a 30cm x 30cm sheet. The non-etched areas are cleaned before running through the lithopress for ink absorption; drying follows. A second layer of white acrylic hexagons serves as a background to enhance visibility. Inks used include Speedball Black, Cyan, red, gold, and a gold+cyan mix for green. A separate file with the designed second layer will be uploaded.
