ETC Lighthack additions
thingiverse
These are just a few tweaks I've made to the ETC #lighthack project. If you don't punch a hole in your box top, the LCD looks pretty rough. Display Cover is simply a small screw-on piece to block some ambient light and make it look a little nicer. On the encoder knobs that came with the kit, the finger cutout was a bit too small, so I designed new knobs to make the encoders easier to manipulate. In the included STL file, the name is commented out, but you can edit the OpenSCAD file if you like. This project was quick and dirty, and there's room for improvement - the tolerance on the cover as well as the stem hole could be a bit better (the cover fits tightly, the stem comes loose easily, both are still usable). update 6/19: I added a faceplate with a hole cut out for the display.
