I decided to repost this and I'm hoping it doesn't raise any copyright or patent issues. Updated, I redesigned the Cell Grip L-R. It now fits a standard nut. The Cell Grip L-R 3 is designed for larger nuts. This design is similar to the iTarget Sled used for target practice with a laser bullet. It uses your cell phone with the iTarget app. It will hold phones from 65mm to 96mm (2.559" to 3.779"). This design utilizes a standard clipboard to hold targets. There's also a place to hold your laser bullets in 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .380 ACP, and .38 special. The design features two rails, both with 1/4" holes for mounting to a stand or setting on a flat surface. One rail has a dovetail to fit an Arca Swiss ball head clamp from a camera tripod. There are also two holders, one narrow and one wide. I think the wide holder works better. You'll need a 3" long 10-24 screw and nut. The nut can't be larger than .312" across the flats. Insert the nut at layer 162 with a 0.2mm resolution. Once the knob is printed, thread it with a tap, then thread the screw in. Cut the head off so that the screw protrudes no more than 52mm and no less than 50mm. You'll also need a 1/4-20 screw 1-1/4" or longer. Do the same as above. Cut from 15mm to 18mm protruding from the knob. Depending on how your printer prints, you may have to sand some of the parts down a little to fit. The rail is just under 12" so you'll need a large build plate for that part. For the L-R Phone Mounts, I strongly recommend using 2mm wall, top, and bottom thickness. The knobs will need support. I printed them with the large side up. The Holders lay flat on their back with eTarget text facing up. The Phone Mount will need support underneath where the rail inserts. The other parts won't need support. Please contact me if you have questions. Thanks for looking.
