eSun Spool Storage System w/ no drilling
thingiverse
Hi, I'm Patrick and this is my very first thing on Thingiverse. This solution provides storage for those who use eSun Filament, especially the clear spool one. I have a lot of these laying around and want to make full use of them. First, I created a 3D model of the spool using Fusion 360, then designed the storage accordingly. The storage system includes several parts: Drawers The drawers were designed to fit together securely using rubber bands, which is why they have a hook at the bottom. If more pressure is needed to keep them stuck together, additional rubber bands can be used or a lace or rope tied in place. Each drawer takes about 2 hours to print and weighs approximately 50 grams with my personal settings. Joiner The joiner was designed to stack multiple spools (recommended up to 10) using thread to attach it to another joiner. It has male and female threads so they can be stacked on top of each other. The joiner takes about 1 hour to print and weighs approximately 30 grams with my settings. Base The base was designed solely as the foundation for the screw part. This base takes about 1 hour to print and weighs approximately 30 grams with my personal settings. You can find more information about printing settings in the attached PDF file. I appreciate any feedback, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
