I started using eSun PLA+ refill and 3D printed Bambu Spool which uses less filament while being strong enough compared to other models available here, https://www.printables.com/model/282211-reusable-spool-holder-w-material-name-printed-in , and which works just fine, the annoying thing tho is that the cardboard refill is thinner than the spool so filament find its way there and things can get problematic.I found the filament being pulled from the corner 3 times and didn't like the tension applied to it.I am not sure if all the refill are the same size so you might need to tweak around.I am also sharing the FreeCAD file so you can change it as needed.
