Didn't enjoy the spool roller's performance, so created a new base to replace it. This one securely holds 8mm rods in 4x 608 bearings for smoother operation. One improvement still needed: swapping out the 2x M3 bolts for longer 10mm ones will give better support. Don't forget to use the metal plate underneath the printed part - it's essential. Currently using PLA, but I'll see how it holds up over time; PETG would likely be a more reliable option.
