Estoc
thingiverse
A versatile double-handed sword, the Estoc ruled battlefields from the 14th to the 17th centuries. Its long, edgeless blade was designed for swift thrusts and deadly stabs, making it a formidable opponent on the field of combat. Typically measuring between 50-60 inches in length, these straight, stiff blades were honed for precision and strength. Carefully crafted in Autodesk Inventor, this sword model was later refined using Microsoft 3D Builder to achieve perfection. The blade itself stretches approximately 45 inches, while the design is divided into manageable 5-inch sections to accommodate smaller printers. An uncut original version of the model is also included for enthusiasts who prefer to work with a more raw design. Important Assembly Notes: When assembling this Estoc sword, users will need three Lower Supports and five Upper Supports. To ensure a secure fit, it's essential to downscale the supports by 2-5% depending on the filament, print nozzle, and other factors that can affect the printing process.
