Estes Pro Series II model rocket mount

Estes Pro Series II model rocket mount

This mount is designed to hold two Estes model rockets, specifically the Pro Series II models, but it should also work with smaller rockets. I've personally used this mount to hang my Mammoth (gold) and Trajector rockets with booster stages from the wall without any issues. The fins of these rockets are far enough away from the wall that they don't touch, even though my left fin hangs off slightly. The Pro Series II rockets typically have a diameter of 2 inches and fit snugly in the 55mm space between forks with some extra room to spare. I've found that a #8 or #10 screw fits perfectly into the screw hole, which is why I'm using a #8 x 1 inch screw. I printed this mount using Silver Hatchbox 1.75mm PLA at a temperature of 210C and an infill of 20%. The layer thickness was set to 0.3mm since it's just a simple mount with no intricate details. However, I did have some trouble printing it at 15% infill because the top layer would stretch across gaps as wide as 10mm in certain areas. To avoid this issue, I recommend using an infill of at least 20%. If you do decide to print this mount, please share your results so others can benefit from your experience.
