The Burgalesa comarca of the Bureba, with its main center in Poza de la Sal, contains a large number of house-shaped steles. This is a characteristic and exclusive type of Roman era between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD, without equal anywhere else in the Iberian Peninsula. They are characterized by their building profile with a two-pitched roof and fronton. A piece recovered in the 1920s while plowing the Las Tejeras estates in Llanos de Bureba.
