Essential Oil Nebulizer
thingiverse
This device is designed to diffuse essential oils into the air for holistic medicine and aromatherapy purposes. Nebulizers are supposed to work better than ultrasonic diffusers, which may explain why they cost over $100! This model is easy to print and operates using a standard aquarium pump. Print Settings Rafts: It doesn't matter what setting you use. Supports: No supports are necessary. Notes: ABS plastic is preferred because PLA can erode over time when exposed to liquid constantly. Post-Printing Clean-up: Use a v-shaped file to clean the lid threads and a 5/16 24tpi tap to clean the air jet hole. The jets will print with thin support tabs that need to be cut off after printing. If your printer clogs up the jet tips, you may need to re-open them with an X-Acto knife. Design: Not being glass makes this device less prone to breakage and mess. It can also be disassembled for cleaning purposes. The air inlet jet is adjustable, and since it's powered by an aquarium pump, you can use standard valves and fittings.
