To replace a costly stainless espresso tamp handle, you can design your first custom part with a 3D printer. The handle fits perfectly and is sized at 30mm for standard RB tamper use. Ensure proper leveling on the build platform before starting. A minor improvement could involve extending the base to create a flush transition from steel to plastic. Another potential tweak is adding matching plastic threads to work with the included steel bolt; however, it functions well even without them by having the bolt cut its own threads into the handle's base hole.
