Tamper tools compress espresso grounds into the basket of an espresso machine for a quality shot, packing them evenly. These tools take loose piles of 'dosed' grounds and transform them into tightly compressed cakes inside the basket. This tamper consists of two parts that screw together, allowing it to be used as is or filled with epoxy resin, small rocks, sand, salt, or any other material to increase its weight. The initial radius of this tamper is 52mm, making it compatible with my Saeco Poemia HD8423 espresso machine. However, users can easily customize it using Fusion360 software (source included) or by modifying the dimensions in their slicer software - a Simplify3D factory file is also provided for reference.
