I'm hooked on espresso, and I'm the only one in my family who shares this passion. So, I've invested in a simple DIY espresso machine that makes brewing a breeze. Here's how I use it: fill the piston cup with one scoop of coffee grounds, press down firmly, then add another scoop and press again - a formula for spilling coffee that never fails to impress. To avoid this inevitable mess, I started brainstorming solutions. One option, two options, three options, four options - the list went on and on, and it seemed like it would take forever to find the perfect solution. So, I decided to print out a workaround, something that would hold the two scoops of fresh coffee in place before the press. That was four months ago, and I'm happy to report that this makeshift solution has exceeded my expectations. If you're interested in replicating this design, you'll need to have a piston holder with dimensions that match mine precisely. However, I've shared the STL file for your reference, and it's easy enough to copy the idea. I printed my workaround using PETG vase mode, which resulted in an incredibly durable finish.
