If you connect your Altherma heat pump by following the instructions of the ESPAltherma repository (https://github.com/raomin/ESPAltherma), you can 3D print this design to mount the NodeMCU on the outside of the heat pump (see pictures).Longer cables are required, but the signal strength is better outside of the heat pumps metal enclosure.You'll need two short M4 screws for ideal fit. You can also use other screws and an electric drill to melt away the unnecessary plastic when screwing in.
