An ESP8266 WiFi-based module with a mini PIR motion detector integrates seamlessly into Domoticz. The Wemos D1 mini board forms the core of this setup, while a 18650 rechargeable battery provides power to the motion sensor. This battery can be easily recharged via an external micro USB connector. The PCB for the lithium-ion battery charger is carefully situated underneath the Wemos D1 mini. The software powering this module can be accessed on GitHub. The design of the battery holder was inspired by RFZ's 18650 Li-Ion battery holder, ensuring a secure and efficient power supply. This project remains a work in progress, with ongoing development aimed at optimizing its functionality.
