Sometimes it's more convenient to have a larger enclosure for concealing cables and other components. This particular design features five openings that allow easy access for LEDs or cables, facilitating their insertion into the enclosure. To utilize the USB port, simply trim away the excess plastic. The lid of this enclosure serves as an additional storage compartment, ideal for housing small items such as LEDs or decorative components. By drilling a few strategic holes, you can create additional points of access for these components. One notable feature of this design is its simple bumper system, which helps prevent accidental damage to the board by providing a protective barrier. When working with angled connectors, it's often beneficial to employ some form of protection, and in this case, the bumper serves that purpose. Post-Printing Instructions To assemble the ESP8266 D1 circuit board, apply a small amount of blu-tack to secure it in place. Due to the tight fit, LEDs with 3mm diameters require gentle insertion through the holes; if necessary, use crazy glue to stabilize them and prevent movement.
