ESP8266 nodeMCU V3 with RJ45 socket
thingiverse
For the keystone socket i used the "RJ45 Keystone Receiver" by mwu (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:548145) So you can use a RJ45 connection to the GPIOs. For my construction i have a connection to the external sensor in the cistern by a rj45 cable. So the GPIO connection is Plug'n'Play
