ESP8266 + BME280 Enclosure w/ Quick Slide Mount/Base
thingiverse
I designed a custom ESP8266 + BME280 enclosure with a quick-slide mounting base and printable board lock for a tool-free installation that didn't require any screws, except for the enclosure mount. I flipped the ESP8266 board inside the enclosure to face upwards for better cooling and easier access to the FLASH/RESET buttons near the USB port. The BME280 board is isolated in its own compartment for more precise readings. On July 31st, I updated the files after making numerous revisions and uploaded pictures of the final design prints. I also added links to purchase the correct-sized boards for this enclosure. On February 19th, I revised the files again to improve fitment of parts and added a knob to attach to the lid after printing.
