Hi,\r\nThis is a compact case designed specifically for housing a li-ion 18650 battery and an ESP8266 module. You can leave the 8-pin header intact on the board. The enclosure features a switch and a 3.5mm stereo jack for both input and output.\r\nA charge port has been included for the 18650.\r\n\r\nThe + terminal of the battery connects directly to the anode side of the diode, while all other positive connections are routed to the VCC pin of the ESP8266.\r\n\r\nThis setup is ideal for use with a DS18B20 temperature sensor, which can be used to log temperatures and send them to Domoticz.\r\n\r\nThe software running on the ESP8266 module is ESPEasy. More information about this firmware can be found at https://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/index.php/ESPEasy.\r\n\r\nSwitch Details:\r\nCheck out these 50x mini-sized, 3-pin slide switches on eBay: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/50x-3-Pin-2-Position-MINI-Size-SPDT-Slide-Switches-On-Off-PCB-24VDC-1-5A-Switch-/123180318387?hash=item1cae1e7eb3\r\n\r\nLi-ion Charger Details:\r\nFind more information about this 2x TP4056 charger module on eBay: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/2x-TP4056-1A-5V-Li-ion-Battery-Charger-Module-USB-Board-Electronic-Component-US/311904046261?hash=item489eee0cb5:g:mN0AAOSwXetZULnt\r\n\r\nAs for the 3.5mm jack, it appears to be a standard in-line female connector.\r\n
