Based on the fantastic work of jomjol and AI-on-the-edge, I built a scanner for my water meter. My problem was that the meter is located in our boiler room, where the family also warms and dries our winter clothes. The reading head of the water meter was regularly moved, which of course caused the scans to stop working. Therefore, I decided to screw the reader to the wall. After several attempts, the solution with the LED "outside" turned out to be the best for me. The reflection is here between the digits and the wheels.
