This housing is intended for outdoor use of the ESP32-Cam microcontroller. There are fixtures for 5mm LEDs. I use infrared LEDs, so the camera can be used in the dark without visible light. But this requires a small modification of the ESP32 cam lenses. I explain what you have to do for this among other things in this Youtube video:

<oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeogSzLhRLk"></oembed>

The case has an inner and an outer shell. In the outer shell you can insert a piece of plexiglass as a window. A DIN-A4 sized one costs only about 3 EUR and can be cut to the necessary size very well with a cutter knife.

If you glue the plexiglass to the outer shell and the outer shell to the inner shell with silicone, the whole thing should be quite weatherproof.

For the screw connection I chose Press-In Nuts size M3.

I intentionally provided the lower plate with small openings so that any water that may penetrate can run off. These can be fixed e.g. with hot glue. For the fixation of the electronics I used Blutack. However, the antenna should remain absolutely free.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Anet

Printer:

A8

Rafts:

Yes

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20

Filament:
Eryone PLA White

Category: Camera
