ESP32-CAM Adjustable holder
thingiverse
The ESP32-CAM is a low-cost webcam that can be used for taking pictures and home surveillance. The ESP32-CAM adjustable holder has a socket for inserting the ESP32 microprocessor pins and a hinge that allows for pointing the camera where you want it to go. The hinge is designed for 3mm screws (I use 3x16) and when top and base are fitted together this provides sufficient friction to hold the camera in any desired orientation. Holes in the base piece (5mm diameter) are for securely mounting the holder onto other objects such as wood using screws onto pipes, etc. using zip ties. In this design, the ESP32-CAM microprocessor is plugged into the top with 2 or 3 pins exposed to enable easy connection with 5V and GND Dupont wires. A simple 5V power supply can be made by stripping the end of a USB cord and using the Red (5V) and Black (GND) wires. A home webcam for < $15 is hard to beat!
