I built a custom enclosure for tidily housing an ESP01 along with an AMS1117 voltage regulator. This project was created specifically for controlling my Mitsubishi air conditioner. The electronics and programming were made possible thanks to an excellent guide by SwiCago on GitHub: https://github.com/SwiCago/HeatPump This box is designed to fit snugly inside the indoor AC unit, concealing the bare PCBs from view. Since taking photos, I also added text markings to the top lid to simplify final cabling with jumper wires.
