A simple light bar derived from my Xiaomi Lamp DesignGithub Link with ESPHome code & WiringParts NeededWS2811/WS2812/WS2812B or WS2813 (around 240mm 5V) LED StripCable with at least 3 conductors with the outer diameter being no more than 3.5mm (an old USB cable is perfect. I didn't have one long enough so purchased thisESP32 Module (I use ESP32-C3-SuperminiJST Male & Female connectorsPrint SettingsLight Bar & End Cap - 0.20 Layer Height.Print Upright with no supports and at least 75% infill If using a lighter colour filament to ensure minimum light leakage. If you have a multi-filament printer you could even print the infill in a darker colour to contain the light.Diffuser - 100% Infill - 0.20 Layer, Print FlatSkadis Mount - 25% Infill, 0.20 Layer, Supports OnLight BarThe light bar will accommodate an LED strip up to 240mm, I used an LED strip with 60 LED's Per Meter which ends up being 14 LED's in the light bar total.MountI have designed the mount to simply friction slot into the back of the light bar whilst also wedging the wire in place so there's no need for any glue or screws. The End Cap is also friction mounted.Due to the nature of the mount design you could remix this to create a mount for almost anything. The fusion 360 files are included.HubI didn't want to have to run a separate ESP chip for every single light bar so I designed a central hub with connectors. This houses an ESP32-C3 Supermini, and 4 pin JST Connectors wired in series. Just dab a bit of glue under the JST connectors once you have wired everything up.You can use any ESP device you like, I wanted to keep mine as small as possible and ESP32-C3's are my go-to choice. All you would need to do is size up the the hub. This allows three light bars to be controlled from one ESP device utilizing "partition" in ESPHome or "Segments" in WLED. It also allows all three to be powered from one 2A> 5v USB-C Power Supply. With the right power supply you could redesign this hub to include double, triple or more connectors for a massive amount of lights connected. The USB-C can also be wired to accept USB-C Power delivery, [this YouTube video]{https://youtu.be/yj3DhasbTfE?list=PLAROrg3NQn7edx9wm5-hhJHceEbI4-Otf&t=263} explains how to do this but I didn't have the correct resistors.
