I built this housing to control a dimmable lamp using a regular duplex plug. One plug is always on and the other is adjustable. Check out the post with instructions for the build at http://homeautomation.proboards.com/post/3782/thread. Background: Inspired by Eric Tsai's Instructables post (https://twitter.com/Eric_1100), I started exploring DIY home automation. Computourist (https://github.com/computourist/RFM69-MQTT-client) cleaned up the programming and added the ability to transmit to end nodes. I also found a helpful forum that has simplified the build and offers a great community at http://homeautomation.proboards.com/post/2053/thread. This is my attempt to contribute back to the http://homeautomation.proboards.com/ community. High-voltage power supplies pose a significant risk of personal injury if not used according to design specifications or intended use, in applications for which they are not designed, or by untrained personnel.
