ESP adapter board
grabcad
My custom made adapter circuit board is designed for the microcontroller ESP 32 NodeMCU Module WLAN WiFi Development Board. It can be powered by 6-20V through a DC step down converter. The power bigger loads of up to 5 Amps there are 6 Mosfets. Two of them are provided by a freewheeling diode to prevent voltage spikes caused by electric motors. The 3 Mosfets on the upper part of the pcb are intentionally designed for LED stripes. That's why they are connected to 4 pin JST connector. The other in/outputs are connected to srew connections for sensors and other stuff with little power. If you don't want any voltage on the inputs you can add diodes or an optocoupler to prevent a broken input through to high voltages. But keep in mind that the diodes will draw around 0,7V.If you want a costumized version of the pcb feel free to ask me.I also made a simulation of the heat distribution that i will upload later. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, i hope you like it.The design is very big because i made the pcb on a mini CNC so i couldn't make any smaller gaps without some troubles. Because of that you can make it at home for example with acid.Credits: I cunfigured the pcb but i didn't design everything by myself. The ESP is from Raphael F. Martins:ESP-WROOM-32The dc bulk converter is from the SolidWorks library.
