I'm experimenting with an IoT sensor network based on the RCWL-0516 radar sensor chip, and so far I've encountered varying ranges and sensitivities among the chips. To integrate these sensors into my home setup, I utilized Arduino to create a sensor and smoke detector system that seamlessly interfaces with Home Assistant MQTT using Node Red. The 3D printed components include a base and lid with no support structure, printed at a layer height of 0.12 mm. Additionally, a 3m command strip mount was printed with a brim for added stability. To assemble the device, I attached a 3m strip to the corresponding part on the mount. Next, I securely fastened the case onto the wall-mounted bracket.
