ESP 8266 mounting plate
thingiverse
This is a compact foundation for integrating an ESP8266 with a single screw sensor like those found in weather stations, measuring current and voltage, and more. The internal diameter of the screw holes is 1.8 mm, accommodating wood screws about 2 mm in diameter with lengths up to 12 or 15 mm. I've successfully used Spax 2x12 screws with a PZ1 head. The four mounting posts fit an ESP8266 as well as base adapters with voltage regulators and pinouts (see images). I printed the entire foundation with 100% infill, which may be overkill but worked perfectly.
