Esnault mosquito larva pupa separator variation 2
thingiverse
A 13 cm diameter scratch model made using TinkerCad of a device to separate mosquito larvae and pupae. It includes a spout to improve emptying. Designed by MQ Benedict. This retains the concept and lattice spacing of the Jeremy Esnault larva pupa separator, 1 mm. The lattice cross sections are hemispherical to improve bed adhesion and printing. It requires no raft or support. Could be printed in PLA but ABS probably better. Try it by either (1) pouring larvae and pupae into it. Should retain pupae or; (2) submerge in water to 1 cm deep and pour mixture in and lift to retain pupae. The latter does not force pupae through.
