Cutting the truncated icosahedron, a result of Professor Antonio Sáseta's teachings, has been successfully adapted at Seville's fablab by student David Cerrada for cutting in laser cutters with mdf or plywood materials measuring 3 mm thick. A box design is also provided for assembling as an "assembly kit". 1 Assemble the components from the downloaded file 2 Use a 3mm thick mdf to cut out all of the required parts on a laser cutter 3 Put everything together by assembly, then 4 Apply wood glue carefully to hold the joined pieces
