Esee Izula 2 Velcro Plates + Hole Patterns
thingiverse
I wanted to mount my Esee Izula 2 in my chest rig similar to the way the Ferro Concepts KnifeNook works. The hole pattern is not standard rectangular like the holes on a Tek-Lok, so I worked out the relationships and tested them ("Izula Hole Pattern Test") and included standard file types as well as a screenshot if people need those. Note: The arrow faces in the direction of the tip of the knife. Then I made a plate that I could stick adhesive-backed Velcro ("Izula Velcro Plate") to allow it to stick into my chest rig/placard but remove it later should I want to use the belt loop again without sticky residue on it. Again, the arrows point towards the tip of the knife and should add some additional texturing to allow the Velcro to stick better. Stay tuned: I will upload some pictures later and have some more Izula projects coming up in the future that I'm excited about. Would love to see more projects that allow you to creatively carry this knife. :)
