ESEE-4 sheath designs, various angles
thingiverse
Remixed from Ron_Outoftownley's design. Please use the .3mf file if possible as the STL are shitty exports out of it and lack some improvements (namely, everything done with negative volume). It's a quick and messy work with prusa slicer. Sorry. Added/modified : - holes (only on the .3mf file) added with prusa slicer for filament economy and allowing the blade to dry. - various angles for different carry designs. - block separator, shifts the blade away from the buckle or the body, for easier handling. - 104% scaling, suited my blade better, feel free to change it. - sometimes a secondary buckles to allow for leg or neck/chest carry. - short designs have some coin shaped platform to hold the buckle. use your thumb against it to draw the blade. It allows for tighter fit without the difficulty for drawing the knife out. What I still have to change : - 270° and 315° for weak side carry. - reinforced buckle as the original one tends to fall from the belt under stress for non vertical angles. - secondary buckle on the 90° as the handle makes the sheath unbalanced. - definitively have to make something well designed, not a mess of modifiers on the prusa slicer. Sorry, I was in a hurry. - A real modifiable angle buckle (with bolt to losen then tighten), like they do on gun holsters. Printed in PLA for the trials. I may get something out of ABS when the final design will be done. PLA still works well.
