ESE Coffee Pod Holder
prusaprinters
Designed to hold Easy Serving Espresso (ESE) coffee pods. Relatively small and fast print. You can store them both vertically and horizontally.PrintI suggest printing with PETG as the walls are thin and my PLA print is a bit flimsy. Print horizontally and go to town with perimeters and infill. 0.3 layer height should be good enough as there won't be many layers visible anyway.AssemblyPrint all the pieces once.Snap the back panel and the base together; bend the back panel for easier insertion.Snap the left and right panels on the base, using the small indentations at the bottom.Use cyanoacrilate or similar method to bind together the corners of the three vertical panels.Once the panels are glued, also glue the front panel's sides to the side panels, making the tops flush to each other. What went wrong in the designI should have made the walls thicker – these are my first designs and I don't have a good perception of dimensions yet, so the overall result is a bit flimsy and lightweight. The panels should snap together or have joints; requiring superglue isn't great. The inclination of the base makes it pretty awkward to pull pods out horizontally. The horizontal space is sufficient for pods to go through but they can get stuck into the walls.
