ESD - Earthing - Grounding plugs for diam 4 mm Red Round Connector
thingiverse
Conductive and flexible plugs to achieve grounding for ESD protection, utilizing my filament PI-ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black. These plugs can be employed for various purposes, including: * ESD-protection: Utilize a total resistance of 1 MOhm by incorporating an extra resistor, as is standard practice in the industry. * Earthing/Grounding: Use a wire to connect directly to the ground outdoors, rather than relying on the electrical grid, which may contain "dirty electricity." However, the most effective method is to step outside and enjoy the earth's natural grounding without shoes. My interest in health and wellness led me to explore the concept of grounding/earthing. Research suggests that being in contact with the ground can provide natural antioxidants that aid in faster healing. Visit the Earthing Institute (https://earthinginstitute.net/research/) or Earthing People (https://www.earthingpeople.se/forskning-om-jordning/) to learn more about this concept. When it comes to 3D printing, I measured a resistance of approximately 1 KOhm through the type F plug (Schuko) at: * Temperature: 230 degrees Celsius * Speed: 3600 mm/min * Nozzle size: 0.7mm * Layer thickness: 0.2mm * Top layers: 8 * Bottom layers: 7 * Shells: 2 For plug types B and G, refer to the following links: * Plug Type B: http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets/ab/ * Plug Type G: http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets/g/ Related designs can be found on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/): * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2656882 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:932975 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:932408 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759421 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:932537 This information is for educational and entertainment purposes only. The PI-ETPU 95-250 Carbon Black filament used in this project offers several benefits: * Eliminates "stringing / webbing" issues * Exhibits great print abilities due to its hardness of 95 shore A and carbon black filler * Features excellent UV stability, making it suitable for harsh environments * Provides a matte black surface finish with an exclusive look * Feels nice and dry to the touch * Is not too stretchy and can be used for timing belts and other applications Learn more about this unique filament at rubber3dprinting.com or watch videos on YouTube (https://youtu.be/): dwWoE9IBQQ8 icZIZ5UUoOE 44ddtR0XDVU GOR8ChGfLp4
