Monument 2 from Casablanca, Suchitepéquez, is a prime example of Preclassic sculptures that typically feature seated figures with broad, vertical bases. Notably, all known examples are missing their heads, which were likely removed on purpose. Examples can be found at Sin Cabezas and Reynosa in Escuintla. I would like to thank Héctor Mejía for showing me the site and its impressive sculptures.
