RS 2000 Ford Escort Mk2 1/10 scale Rear wheel drive, but could be adapted for AWD. The initial plan centered around mounting the motor in the middle and powering it from both sides. A 5:1 transaxle and ball differential were used to achieve this design. Details on the build can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2826921 Included was a one-piece bonnet/boot lid design. The current setup utilizes a 55-540 brushed motor, which operates effectively on 3s power but may not provide sufficient speed for larger spaces. Plans are to replace it with a 45 from a truck, running on 2s power soon. Servos used in the build include EMAX ES09MD (https://www.banggood.com/EMAX-ES09MD-Digital-Swash-Servo-For-450-Helicopter-With-Metal-Gear-p-88192.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN). Bearings utilized are 3x7x3 bearings x3 (https://www.banggood.com/10pcs-683ZZ-3x7x3mm-Ball-Bearings-Deep-Groove-Double-Shielded-Miniature-Ball-Bearings-p-1148730.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN) and 18x12x4 bearings x12 (https://www.banggood.com/10Pcs-18-x-12-x-4-mm-6701ZZ-Steel-Metal-Radial-Ball-Bearing-p-79990.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN). A 3mm x19 shaft is also needed, along with some 4mm rod for the axles. Additional components include a thrust bearing for the ball differential (https://www.banggood.com/XLPOWER-520-RC-Helicopter-Parts-Tail-Thrust-Bearing-Set-p-1229065.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN). Screws used in the build are 3mm, 2.5mm, and 2mm (one of these kits has everything https://www.banggood.com/300pcs-M2-M2_5-M3-Stainless-Steel-Socket-Cap-Screws-Assortment-Kit-p-1062556.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN), with some cut for between the steering ball joints. Other components include 8mm screws without heads or 10mm total length counter sunk screws (https://www.banggood.com/Suleve-M3SH7-50Pcs-M3-Stainless-Steel-Hex-Socket-Flat-Head-Countersunk-Screws-Bolts-4-12mm-Length-p-1248853.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN). Shocks used in the build are from HSP (https://www.banggood.com/HSP-110-Rc-Flat-Car-Aluminium-Alloy-Shock-Absorber-2Pcs-p-925474.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN), but they were missing their top balls, so some had to be printed. Wheels used in the build are from Banggood (https://www.banggood.com/4-PCS-110-RC-Drift-Wheels-Tires-Set-Tyre-Wheel-Rim-For-Traxxas-HSP-Tamiya-HPI-p-1084874.html?p=ZA0922813961201410GN). The crown gear used is from Ursa's (bear) Monster Truck, which is fully printable. The other two gears are modified versions of the ones found in the Monster Truck Diffs and can be used with some modifications to the Trans axle housings. On 5/19/18, bumpers and lights were added. The lights were printed in clear PLA, and the headlight was printed lens-down on a smooth bed so it comes out clear. It was then painted silver, while the tail lights could be colored with felt tip pen on the inside in red and yellow. On 5/29/18, the steering mount was moved to the chassis part (floor pan top front steering mount.stl) and (dash v2 no steering.stl).
