Two distinct layers form the foundation, with the upper "Etch" layer waiting to be expertly cut and the lower "0" layer ready for precision etching. Utilizing the laser in a clever technique, I deliberately introduced a slight blur by focusing it around 6 or 7 millimeters off-target. This innovative approach produces lines that are impressively wide and visually striking. A valuable tip for anyone looking to enhance their printing process: defocused etching is a game-changer. Although my initial test consisted of just nine geckos printed on 1/8-inch MDF, the results demonstrate impressive cohesion. Imagine an endless array of these captivating creatures in various colors, carefully arranged to create a breathtaking wall covering - it would be truly stunning.
