Angus Hines recently downloaded an hexagonal lizard tile vector art based on M.C. Escher's design from my personal homepage and used it to lasercut fluorescent acrylic tiles of about 3 inches. The attached images showcase these tiles. As the art was featured on my page since 2008, I thought it was time to share the files on Thingiverse. In an update dated December 15, 2011, Angus sent me photos of lizards printed using FDM/FFF equipment and shared the .STL and .CDR files he used. On February 28, 2012, I added a version with a 1/16" diameter pinhole in the tiling center for easy wall-mounting. Angus reported no issues while using the art on the laser cutter but mentioned that individual line segments slow down the cutting process, so he might revise it later.
