Escher - Arduino Controlled Etch-a-Sketch
thingiverse
Escher is the world's first web-controlled Arduino-powered Etch-a-Sketch. This groundbreaking design is made up of several key components, including left and right brackets that fit together seamlessly using a dovetail joint in the back. Gear-based knobs replace the traditional knobs on the Etch-a-Sketch, while gears attach to stepper motors for precise control. To bring this innovative project to life, you'll need the following additional parts: * An Adafruit Feather HUZZAH32 board * An Adafruit Motor FeatherWing module * Two NEMA17 stepper motors * Brass heat-set inserts for M3 screws * M3 x 8mm screws for attaching knobs and steppers to the Etch-a-Sketch base In addition to the Arduino and web client software described in the blog post below, this project requires a 9-12VDC power supply for the motor controller board.
