Escapement OpenSCAD Library w/ Test Jig Script

thingiverse

This code refactoring divides my graham escapement script into two parts: firstly, a library containing core modules, such as the wheel and escapement; secondly, a test script with parameter values and rudimentary code to integrate these elements. The library encompasses all the components required for a functioning Graham escapement, which meshes correctly with its corresponding wheel. Instructions are provided for accessing both the complete list of modules and parameters within the library. Additionally, the test script offers two top-level modules - assembled() and laidOutToPrint() - for positioning parts in various configurations. To use the test script, simply comment out unnecessary modules, adjust parameters as desired, and hit F6 to see results. The library is an OpenSCAD creation by syvwlch, licensed under the Attribution-ShareAlike-Creative Commons license, with versions including the ring, tooth, ringTooth, escapementWheel, and escapement modules. The latter needs translation along the y-axis for proper meshing with a matching wheel at origin. Finally, there's the placeEscapement module to position components correctly.
