ESC protector (fit's Tekko32 35A ESC)
thingiverse
I was over-tightening the caps on my ESC and causing unnecessary wear, but couldn't find a suitable protector for the Tekko32 35A ESC from Holybro to fit perfectly on my Realacc X5R frame. I decided to create simple protectors to solve this problem. These protectors are designed without bottoms, making them easy to replace. Simply slide them over the ESC and arm of your frame, then secure with zip ties. Underneath the ESC, I always use foam from orders from Banggood and attach it to the arms with electrical tape before placing the ESC on top. Additionally, I wrap heatshrink around the ESC for extra protection. I printed these protectors using PLA, but other materials may be more suitable; however, I only have PLA available at present. To minimize supports, I print the protectors vertically. The wall thickness on the sides is 2mm and on top is 2.5mm. The zip tie cutouts are 4.5mm wide and 1mm deep to accommodate strong zip ties. The inner width is 20mm, height is 8.5mm, and length is 40mm. If you find this design useful, please consider clicking on one of the affiliate links below to support me. This might be due to my current nozzle setting of 0.6mm with a layer height of 0.4mm.
