ESC holder bracket (v5) for hobbyking hexacopter turnigy HAL and TALON 14mm
thingiverse
Designed a bracket for mounting an ESC on Turnigy H.A.L frame with 14mm clamp inner diameter and plate of 26x34mm, designed for Turnigy plush 30A. Plate rotated at 45 degrees, has one hole for cable tie 2x5mm. Version 3 features wider clamp for sturdier mounting (still 14mm), two holes for cable ties 2x5mm, ESCs mount in parallel with arms and hinge on clamp for easy mounting with a pin hole of 1.5mm diameter. It may need support when printing. A version with rotated plate at 60 degrees is also available. Version 3.1 features better hinge. Version 4 has built-in support structures that do not require makerware support, removed some fillets (who needs round corners anyway), stronger but uglier, no overhangs means no curly prints. Version 5 features no hinges, crash resistant and heavy duty with built-in support for easy removal and is easy to print. STL files available in 0.15mm print settings at 100% linear infill, no support and no raft. Air travel speed slow down. Filament diameter adjusted so it's not over extruding. Add purge wall away from object for hinge cooling before next layer. A custom profile is available for MakerBot Slicer with specific settings. Instructions on how to print are also provided. If you want something similar or need a mod of this, feel free to send a message. Maybe an ESC holder for square tubes?
