You have to bring those parts together seamlessly. Everything is printed in ABS plastic, and a solution of acetone was used to secure the connection. Following Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, I desired a lightsaber similar to those found in both Empire Strikes Back and The Force Awakens. Thus, I created it with 3D printing capabilities in mind and plenty of internal space for an Arduino and a sound module.
