Based on original blueprint drawings by Alan Sinclair from the year 2006, I embarked on a journey to rekindle my passion for 3D modeling and give back to the community. This model represents the flash suppressor of the DL-44 blaster used by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back." Since I work more efficiently with metric measurements, I converted inches to centimeters. This might result in a slight size discrepancy when compared to the original blueprint dimensions. I built this model using Autodesk 123D Design software from the blueprints discovered by Alan Sinclair.
