ESA Rosetta Spacecraft

ESA Rosetta Spacecraft

thingiverse

I've been following the ESA's Rosetta spacecraft for quite some time now and thought it would be nice to create my own three-dimensional model. Unfortunately, the only available one I could find is on the NASA website, which isn't very printer-friendly. As a single file, it wouldn't have scaled up properly either. Now that I'm working on breaking down the spacecraft into smaller, more manageable pieces, first things first, the solar panels are my priority. After that comes the main body. It's likely there will be additional parts that need to be printed separately, so we'll see how it all comes together in the end. The full-scale Rosetta spacecraft can be found on the NASA 3D site: http://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/detail/eoss-rosetta. Once the solar panels are complete, I will be moving on to more of its features.
