The ERSA MS 250 Soldering Station comes equipped with two soldering irons - a full-size 25W model and a pen-style 6W iron. For years, I had to repeatedly unplug and replug the other iron, which led to wear and tear on the RCA jack's solder joint. Eventually, the joint gave way, causing the station to malfunction. After repairing the faulty connection, I designed this add-on to enable seamless switching between the two irons without ever having to unplug either one.
