Erlenmeyer flasks caps and pump holes
thingiverse
Create an individual liquid soap container without relying on store-bought options, I purchased Erlenmeyer flasks and considered adding a cork top; however, corks can be expensive and sizing may not be ideal. To solve this issue, I designed two different tops in various sizes – one whole top and another with a pump hole for liquid soap pumps. The first design has a bottom diameter of 31mm to accommodate ABS shrinking and a top diameter of 36mm to fit all flasks of the same characteristics. Alternatively, the second design features a bottom diameter of 22mm and a top diameter of 35mm. To make adjustments, I posted the freeCAD file online, which also includes a stand for spherical flasks. Print your chosen part while it's still hot to ensure a proper fit in the flask; any shrinkage may render the cap unusable. Adjustments can be made within the freeCAD file if necessary. Note that due to varying Erlenmeyer flask diameters, even within the same brand and batch, you may need to mix and match cap sizes. A helpful tip is tapping the cap against the flask while still hot to ensure a snug fit, as PLA tends to shrink more than ABS during cooling process.
