Ergonomic String Winder

Ergonomic String Winder

prusaprinters

Most string winders make you move your hand in a circular motion (like cranking a bicycle pedal). This more ergonomic version has the handle axis tilted at 7 degrees which lets your wrist pivot rather than translate (like whisking an egg). It prints without supports and snaps together without any additional fasteners.

There are two versions of the handle - one plain and one with an integrated bridge pin puller.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

MakerGear

Printer:

M2

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2mm

Infill:

20%

Notes:

You electric guitar players will probably prefer the plain handle (winderhandle.stl), whereas you acoustic guitar players may prefer the handle with the bridge pin puller slot (winderhandle2.stl).

Category: Music
