Ergonomic String Winder
thingiverse
Most string winders force you to move your hand in a circular motion, just like cranking a bicycle pedal. This more ergonomic version has the handle axis tilted at 7 degrees, allowing your wrist to pivot instead of translating, much like whisking an egg. It prints without supports and snaps together with no need for additional fasteners. There are two versions of the handle - one plain and one with an integrated bridge pin puller. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Electric guitar players will likely prefer the plain handle (winderhandle.stl), while acoustic guitar players may prefer the handle with the bridge pin puller slot (winderhandle2.stl).
